Why we cite it
A meta-analysis of 16 randomised controlled trials (1,010 participants) of ginger supplementation. It found significant reductions in circulating CRP, hs-CRP and TNF-α, and no significant effect on IL-6 or sICAM, with high heterogeneity between trials (I² from 89% to 98%).
