Most of our reference pages leave out the section about who wrote the paper
Cosmetic: how it looks, not what it says.
Every paper we cite has a reference page, and each page is meant to carry a short section about who wrote the paper: where they work, what they study. On most of those pages the section is missing. Our records hold it, under the heading About the authors, and the step that builds the public page looks only for About the author, singular. Where a paper has one author the section appears; where it has several, which is most papers, it does not. Nothing shown is wrong; something written for you is not being shown. The count here is of pages actually on the site; a dozen records with the plural heading have no public page yet and are not counted.
The fix is small, and it is deliberately waiting. Before several hundred sections go live at once, they are being read for claims about people that rest on nothing but our own notes, so that what finally appears has been checked.
