Why we cite it
The Registered Replication Report that changed the standing of ego depletion. Prior meta-analysis had reported a medium-sized effect; subsequent meta-analyses questioned its size and existence and identified signs of bias, and those analyses catalysed this project. Twenty-three laboratories ran a standardised sequential-task protocol, and the pooled estimate was indistinguishable from zero. For this library it supplies the missing coordinate under `ked01`'s hedge — the file has said "the model has faced replication challenges since 2016" while citing a book published in 2011. 338 citations (Europe PMC, 2026-08-23).
