Why we cite it
The largest preregistered test of ego depletion to date, and the one that answers `cwp08`'s main limitation. Where the 2016 Registered Replication Report ran a single standardised protocol, this project used a "paradigmatic replication approach" in which each of 36 laboratories implemented one of **two** procedures intended to manipulate self-control. The confirmatory result was nonsignificant and the Bayesian analysis favoured the null by a factor of four.
