Book
Kabat-Zinn J. Coming to Our Senses: Healing Ourselves and the World Through Mindfulness. New York: Hyperion; 2005.
Why we cite it
Provides the comprehensive mindfulness framework from the founder of MBSR, extending his earlier work to explore how attention and awareness transform all aspects of daily experience — including eating. Directly relevant to the project because Kabat-Zinn’s work is the foundation upon which mindful eating practices are built, and this book articulates the broader philosophy of bringing present-moment awareness to everyday activities rather than treating mindfulness as a separate meditation exercise.
