About the author

Gretchen Rubin holds a BA and JD from Yale University, where she was editor-in-chief of the Yale Law Journal. After clerking for Justice Sandra Day O'Connor on the U.S. Supreme Court, she pivoted to writing about habits, happiness, and human nature. Author of several New York Times bestsellers including *The Happiness Project*, *The Four Tendencies*, and *Better Than Before*. Her books have sold millions of copies in over thirty languages.
