About the author
Melanie Warner is a journalist and former staff reporter for the New York Times covering the food industry, and previously spent seven years as a writer at Fortune magazine. *Pandora's Lunchbox* was her first book, growing out of her NYT food industry reporting. She is also author of *The Magic Feather Effect* (2019) on alternative medicine and the placebo effect. The book was a Goodreads Choice Award Nominee (2013) and was endorsed by Mark Bittman, Marion Nestle, and Dean Ornish.
