Susan E. Swithers is Professor of Psychological Sciences at the Ingestive Behavior Research Center, Purdue University. She is a behavioural neuroscientist whose research with Terry Davidson demonstrated how artificial sweeteners disrupt the body's learned ability to predict caloric consequences from sweet taste.
